International Law Resources  

There are an increasing number of websites dealing with international, comparative, and foreign law.  The MLIC staff has compiled a number of these websites which we think are particularly useful.  These resources may be accessed on the MLIC homepage under Research Tools, Law Links.  Look under the heading International, Foreign and Comparative Law links.

Researching foreign and comparative law can be partcularily challenging. Two examples of excellent sources which may be found through this collection of links are: Yale Country by Country Guide to Foreign Legal Research and  Flores and Reynolds Foreign Law Guide.

Lexis and Westlaw also have a variety of databases related to international and foreign law.

Research in comparative and international law topics may tax your research skills, but the MLIC has abundant resources for this type of research.  The following are some basic resources in print that you might want to consult as a starting point:
