Print Sources

Print copies of cases may be found in the West Regtional reporters found on the 3rd floor of the MLIC and the Federal Reporters on the 2nd floor.

Print copies of state court decisions prior to the National Reporter System (prior to 1885) may be available in print in the State materials on the 1st Floor.

Electronic Sources

Docket information for Federal Cases is available in the Pacer database.  See the Reference desk if you need a document filed for a particular case that would be included in its docket file. At this time librarians must do monitored searches for you as using the Pacer database involves charges.

WestlawNext includes PDF versions of cases from 1920 to present.

Public access to opinions from selected U.S. appellate, district and bankruptcy courts at U.S. Courts Opinions.

Findlaw includes both federal and state cases.

Justia includes both federal and state cases.

Washlaw Web provides links to federal and state court sites.
