Another way to get good background information on your topic is to look through treatises and hornbooks which are secondary sources. These sources often explain, analyze, or comment on the law, though they are not the actual law itself. To find these resources in the MLIC, you should use our online library catalog. You can search by keyword, title, author, call number, or Library of Congress subject heading. The following titles represent treatises and hornbooks most recently acquired by the MLIC. Other (older) titles may be found at the same call numbers and by using the same LC subject headings.
